Vibe Coding with Replit: From Idea to Live App

You don't need to be a developer. You don't need to write code. In one working session, you'll go from a blank screen to a live, shareable app that you build by describing what you want in plain language. Walk in with an idea. Walk out with something real you can use.

From Idea to Live App

Don't leave with a folder of notes. By the end of the session you'll understand the full build journey, from first prompt to deployed app, and have a project of your own ready to start this week.

Build, Don't Just Watch

This isn't a demo you sit through. You'll have Replit open, prompting alongside the walkthrough, so the skills stick the moment you try them, not weeks later when you've forgotten.

No Coding Background Needed

No computer science degree. No prior experience. If you can describe a problem in plain words, you can build the solution. This workshop is built for non-technical people who are ready to make things.

Program Overview

Using AI to write emails is one thing. Using it to build working software is another.

Most people think building an app means hiring a developer, waiting months, and paying a fortune. Or learning to code first. That era is over.

"Vibe coding" is a new way of building: you describe what you want in plain language, and AI writes the software with you, in real time. The tool that makes this accessible to anyone is Replit, a single place where you can build, test, and ship a real app with a live URL, no setup required.

This workshop isn't about theory. It's a hands-on session where you'll watch a real app get built from scratch, learn the prompting habits that make the difference between a working build and a frustrating one, and leave with your own idea ready to go. Whether it's an internal tool, an AI agent experiment, or a side project you've been putting off, you'll know exactly how to start.

#1

The Mental Model

First, a grounded introduction to what Replit is, what it can do, and where it fits in real work and side projects. You'll learn how it differs from traditional development tools, the three core use cases (organizational prototyping, AI agent building, and personal projects), and see real shipped examples of what's possible for a non-technical builder.

Then we get into the thinking behind vibe coding: the four-part anatomy of a strong prompt, the five habits that separate good vibe coders from frustrated ones, how to use AI tools to draft and refine your prompts before pasting them in, and the common traps and how to avoid them.

#2

Full Build Walkthrough

A real, end-to-end build of a working app, from the first prompt to a live URL anyone can visit. You'll see the six-stage build journey, the actual prompts used at each stage and why they worked, and how to debug methodically while adding features one at a time.

#3

Use Cases & Live Debug

A faster tour through three different kinds of apps to stretch your sense of what's possible: how an internal tool can be built in hours instead of months, how Replit works as a sandbox for testing AI agent ideas, and how a personal side project can become a real product, with auth, database, and hosting included.

Then we open the floor: a working session where we tackle your specific questions, work through real confusion, and run a live debugging session that shows exactly how problems get diagnosed and fixed in real time.

#4

Brainstorm & Build

A guided working session to find your first app idea and leave with a plan. You'll use a three-question framework to surface a real problem worth solving, join a live idea clinic where ideas are sketched into starting prompts on the spot, and leave with a clear next step, ready to build.

WHAT YOU'LL WALK AWAY WITH

#1: A working mental model for building with AI

Stop guessing at prompts. You'll understand how to think when AI is your collaborator: the four-part anatomy of a strong prompt, and the habits that separate confident builders from frustrated ones.

#2: Prompting habits you can use the moment you open Replit

Not abstract advice. Specific, repeatable habits and checkpoints you can apply on your very first build, including how to draft and sharpen prompts before you ever paste them in.

#3: The full build journey, start to finish

You'll see the complete six-stage path from first idea to a live, shareable URL: the actual prompts used at each stage, why they worked, and how to debug methodically when things break.

#4: A concrete project of your own, ready to start

Before you log off or leave the room, you'll have at least one real idea sketched into a starting prompt and a clear next step, so you walk out ready to build, not just inspired.

Who This Workshop Is For

This workshop is for you if you're one of these four people.

  • A business owner or operator who keeps hitting "we'd need a developer for that," and wants to build internal tools and business apps yourself, in hours instead of months
  • A professional or team member curious about building with AI, with little or no technical background
  • A founder or side-project builder who has an idea you've been putting off because you didn't know where to start
  • Anyone curious about vibe coding who learns best by doing, not by watching slides

You should probably skip this workshop if you are:

  • An experienced software developer looking for advanced engineering technique (this is for non-technical and beginner builders)
  • Looking for a survey of every AI coding tool out there (we go deep on Replit and the build process, not an encyclopedia)
  • Already shipping apps with AI tools comfortably (this workshop is for people still finding their footing)
  • Looking for a magic shortcut (you'll leave able to build, but it takes doing the work)

Why This Workshop Is Different

Pioneer in AI Education

Hands-on, not hand-wavy

You build alongside the session with Replit open. The skills are practiced in the room, not promised for "later."

The full journey, not a teaser

You see a complete app go from first prompt to live URL, including the debugging, the mistakes, and the recovery. The real process, not a polished highlight reel.

Personalized Learning

You leave with a project, not just notes

By the end you have your own idea sketched into a starting prompt and a clear next step. You walk out ready to build this week.

Your Faculty

Samuel Whitney is a product leader who uses AI to build real, shippable software every day.

He is the Vice President of Product at The Arbinger Institute in Utah, USA, where he's leading an enterprise-wide shift to an AI-enabled subscription model. Samuel puts no-code AI tools like Replit, Claude, and Manus at the center of his product workflow, using them to build rapid prototypes, ship enterprise tools, and stand up full AI agents from first design to global launch.

The results are concrete. By making AI prototyping central to how his team works, he cut their product development cycle from 6 to 12 months down to just 4 to 8 weeks. He's built and deployed AI agents and multi-agent systems on enterprise infrastructure, including Microsoft Azure Foundry.

Before stepping into product leadership, Samuel spent years growing Arbinger's global business across 20 countries, and ran his own e-commerce company, taking it from $650K to $1.1M in revenue in 18 months before a successful exit. That blend of operator, builder, and product strategist is why his take on vibe coding stays grounded in one thing: shipping software that actually works.

He holds an Executive MBA from IESE Business School in Barcelona and a Diploma of Global Business from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.

Program Certificate

"This certificate recognizes your hands-on completion of a real, end-to-end build using AI. It demonstrates your ability to take an idea from first prompt to a live, deployed app, and to debug, iterate, and ship using vibe coding."

Why This Training Matters For You?

The ability to build software used to belong to a small group of people. That's no longer true.

In the next 12 months, the gap won't be between people who can code and people who can't. It'll be between people who can turn an idea into a working tool and people who are still waiting on someone else to build it for them.

You don't need to become an engineer. You need to understand how to build with AI well enough to:

- Turn a real problem into a working app without hiring a developer
- Prototype an internal tool in hours instead of months
- Test an idea cheaply before you commit money to it
- Build the side project you've been putting off for years

That's what this workshop delivers: a real build, real skills, and your own project ready to start. In one working session.

"You will fail without AI."

A: If you have any questions, you may send your message to our chatbox at the lower right of the website. Our dedicated team is here to assist you with any questions you may have.

The Cost of Waiting:

The barrier to building has never been lower. The advantage goes to the people who start.

Every week you wait, the idea you've been sitting on stays an idea. The tool you keep meaning to build stays a wish. Meanwhile the people who learn this now are quietly shipping things like internal tools, prototypes, and products, while everyone else is still asking for a quote.

You can build it yourself. We'll show you how. Bring your idea.
